Description

Superedibles' Organic Tart Cherries (Sour) are a delicious treat eaten right from the package or combined with other foods. Collected from wild cherry trees, they're pitted and dried using solar dryers. They are double CO2 washed, metal detected and triple laser sorted. Our certified organic dried sour cherries are 100% cherry. There is no sweetener, preservative, Sulphur, oil or any other adulterant added to the product.

Compared to sweet varieties, sour cherries are known to have more concentrated amounts of the beneficial micro-nutrients you want and less of the sugars you don't. These nutritional powerhouses deliver many compounds considered beneficial to health. A small sample of these include polyphenols: including anthocyanins, gallic acid, p-coumaric acid, kaempferol and quercetin as well as potassium, manganese, copper, calcium, iron, vitamin A and even melatonin.

Tart cherries are believed to modulate inflammation, benefit arthritic conditions including gout, protect and improve cardiovascular health, aid in minimizing muscle damage from exercise and promote post exercise recovery and pain relief. New research even links tart cherries to improved sleep.

5 of 5 Spectacular! March 25, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from CENTER MORICHES, NY United States
These cherries are just the right blend of tart and sweet- but not overly sweet which I prefer.
I  also soak them in filtered water and they are utterly delicious..
