Organic Whole Cardamom is the pod of the Elettaria cardamomum plant, a variety known as "green" or "true" cardamom. It is sometimes referred to as "Queen of Spices". Green cardamom is generally considered the third most expensive spice behind saffron and vanilla. Our Organic Cardamom is fresh and aromatic. Cardamom is particularly popular in Indian cuisines but is also used in Middle Eastern, North African, Central Asian and Scandinavian cuisines.
