Our Organic Raw Macadamia Nuts are fresh out of the shell and gently dried. They are crunchy and delicious with a rich, clean flavor and a slight natural sweetness. In addition to their great epicurean qualities, macadamias are a super nut relatively rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. The greatest amount is Oleic Acid. This is the good fat found in Olive Oil and Avocados.
There is also the hard to find Omega-7 type of fatty acids. The Omega-7 found in Macadamia nuts is called Palmitoleic Acid which provides building blocks for enzymes that control the burning of fat. Macadamias also contain vitamins and mineral and are considered very anti-inflammatory.
